Ale & Beverages

Our big passion is real ale. There are five beer engines at the bar, and we pride ourselves on well-kept beer.

Our permanent ales are brewed by local heroes Bath Ales and Bristol Beer Factory. From Bath Ales, we have their 3.9% abv pale ale  Prophecy and their flagship best bitter Gem at 4.1% abv. A variety of Bristol Beer Factory ales are also usually represented, in the passed we have had Independence, Bitter Kiwi & 12 Apostles to name a few. The remaining pumps are usually given over to stronger guest ales.

It’s not all about real ale though… We have three draught lagers including Amstel, Moretti and Budvar, along with two ciders, Ashton Press & Thatchers Haze. We also now have 3 Guest Craft Beers for you to choose from.

Wine is supplied by the brilliant Andy Perrett of Bristol Wine Merchants. For our reds we serve Santa Helena Merlot 13% (Chile), Vega del Rayo Tempranillo Rioja 12.5% (Spain) and Bodega Tamari Malbec 14% (Aregentina) and as for the whites we serve a Santa Helena Sauvignon Blanc 12% (Chile) and  Folonari Pinot Grigio 12% (Italy). And finally we also serve chilled  Zinfandel Rose 10% (California) by the glass and by the bottle only Prosecco and Champagne.

Of course there is also a vast array of spirits, fruit juices and a full range of other soft drinks.
